Cherry blossoms and the MLK Memorial

The MLK Memorial as seen through the branches of a cherry blossom tree.

THE LOCATION: Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, The National Mall, Washington D.C.

GPS: 38°53'10.6037" N 77°2'39.082" W

THE EQUIPMENT: Canon EOS 6D | Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L II USM

THE STORY: Do what others are not.

Let the masses hold up their phones or cameras as they stand at the feet of the memorial.

Get yourself over to the cherry blossom tree nearby. Stick your head up into the branches. Find the opening.

Contextualize. Make it compelling. Make people go "Huh!" when they see you or the image.

"Huh!" means something is much more interesting.
